Born in Death

Only 3 more books to go and I'm caught up with the In Death series, hurrah!
I really liked this one. More incestuous villians (this time a mother/son pair) but at least the son killed the mother in the end and I didn't see that coming. Lots of good, sharply drawn minor characters with individuality and memorable personalities.
Mavis finally had her baby and I loved the lack of goo about it on Dallas and Roarke's part. No coming out of the birthing room talking about how beautiful it all was -- it was disgusting, they hated it (but did the coaching thing anyway for a friend), thought the newborn looked like a squashed alien and badly needed a drink to forget the whole appalling experience. Got to love the honesty.
This one will be on its way to BookNannyAL as soon as I get the change to send it.

Gotta love Eve Dallas - tough and smart. These too have just the right mix of futuristic action and mystery. Thank you so much for the surprise RABCK's.
Another good installment of the Eve Dallas series. Here she's after the killer of 2 accountants. She's also trying to deal with being a birth coach for Mavis. The scene at the beginning of the book where Eve and Roarke are sitting, in utter horror, through the film of a birth was so funny.
A RABCK for hostile17 - enjoy!
Thank you so much for sending this to me.
I really appreciate it.
