Picked up at a meet up and forgot to "catch" it - sorry!

You know when you read a book, and are sorry when it ends? This was one of those books for me. Well written characters whose lives intertwine in ways that could sometimes be predicted, but often couldn't.

Sending as a RABCK to a fellow bookcrosser - happy reading!
Journal Entry 6 by Shahrun at -- Somewhere in London 🤷‍♀️ , Greater London United Kingdom on Monday, January 24, 2011
Got this in the post as a RABCK from the very kind Purple-Pixie to grant a Wish on my list. Thank You! Can't wait to read it. Plan to read then release.
Pretty fab, epic saga following the fortunes of the families from The Tea Rose. Kept me interested. The ending of the book was quite an exciting, nail biting rush to the finish line. I knew before I started the book where it would all end - just not how. I have a few little niggles that stop me awarding top marks though. She manipulates time to fit her story, but it offends my logical sensibilities (because I’m sure what she fits in is just not really possible in said time available). Also had a rather irritating way of constantly repeating herself with unnecessary recaps - that’s poor editing. And disrupts an otherwise great story.
Posting this trilogy off to a fellow BookCrosser. It’s my side of a RABCK swap. Happy reading (this lot should keep you going a while!).
