It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

Just Footprints Poems, Christian Poems, Footprints Collectors Classic Poetry,

Carolyn Joyce Cartys call for writing poetry. On many ocassions Carolyn would read Robert Louis Scharring-Hausens nature columns. Carolyn Joyce Carty born March 14, 1957, Wilmington, Delaware was a child prodigy and is an American Poet who wrote the world renowned and best loved "Footprints" poem anonymously when she was 6 years of age. Carolyn had many inspirations as a young child, she admired John F. Kennedy when she met him on his campaign trail in Willingboro New Jersey. Although Carolyn was very young Senator Kennedy's words "ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country" made a profound impact on her life. Carolyn possessed an unusually high I.Q. for a child of her age learning to read and write at the very young age of four. Most of her learning abilities were taught early on from family members who were educators. Their teaching experiences as school teachers, Sunday school teachers, writers and school principals enhanced her natural abilities of early education. Carolyn possessed a great passion for the arts discovering poetry when given "A Child's Garden of Verses" a poetry book written by Robert Louis Stevenson. Her whimsical personality suited poetry, she was never without a song in her heart or a rhyme in her head when she was a child. Carolyn was an avid thinker by many means, besides religion she enjoyed science, mathematics and writing.

Her inspirations after reading "A Psalm of Life" written by Poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow inspired her passion to write Passion poetry as a child. It was through her great-uncle Robert Louis Scharring-Hausen, founding father of Library Week (1922) and nature columnist from Hopewell, New Jersey that she began to follow his footsteps and decided to be a writer herself. She is the registered copyright owner and author of "Footprints" at the U.S. Copyright Office, listed as an "Anonymous Contribution".

Carolyn Joyce Carty's most recent publication is the Footprints in the Sand Literary Classic Collector's Edition of Footprints. "Footprints in the Sand: (One Night A Man Had A Dream)" made publishing phenomena in 1963 and has since traveled the globe worldwide. Now commemorating her writings from her childhood she is currently celebrating 44 years in Christian publishing. Carolyn Joyce Carty is most notably recognized for her poems Footprints, Faith, The Footprints of God, God's Footprints & Each Other also known as the Footprints Wedding Poem & The Thirst of Christ. Carolyn Joyce Carty has received nominations for Editors Choice Awards and outstanding achievements in poetry by international poetry societies.

Carolyn Joyce Carty would most like to be remembered as a passion writer and the youngest philanthropist there has ever been. Along her many journeys through life she had the extraordinary experience of meeting His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama Tenzin Gyatso before he earned recognition for his nobel peace prize. The common bond of sharing faith of Christianity, ideaology of interdenominational and nondenominational faiths throughout the world was a common goal among the two. Carolyn has admired His Holiness from her earliest age of two and holds the same beliefs that empowering youth through examples that common goals can be reached through the education of the mind and working toward common goals of peace and unity for all humankind.

Although Carolyns writing style is unique she describes her poetry as written in eloquent language and easy for individuals to understand. "Sometimes religion in and of itself may be difficult to learn" she is quoted as saying "when you simplify the general message for people they are more apt to understand, learn & share it with one another." she is proud to serve Gods universal message with all in hope that she will only inspire faith towards God for others.
