I really enjoyed his non-Callahan's novels that I've read, so I'm hoping this will be just as good. From samandjack.

This book was good, but it's a little too Spider Robinsonish. Do all his books have to have puns and Oms and pot-smoking in them? I don't necessarily have a problem with any of those things, but I'm getting a little tired of the same themes and plot devices in all his books. Find some new schtick!

Anyway, the story of this one is actually really interesting. I liked hearing an entirely new way to bring civilization crashing down.

I'll save this one for my sister if she wants it, and definitely for the Canada Day release challenge.
