Extended Profile
I don't have as much time to read as I'd like, but I manage to fit it in. I especially like books about:
1) The end of the world. Best if the survivors form a new society.
2) Elizabeth I.
3) Other planets with other life-forms, and their civilizations.
4) Dystopias. To a lesser extent, utopias.
I am usually interested in trading only for things on my wishlist, just to keep the mass balance of books in and out of my home somewhat reasonable.
Here are my caught wild releases:
The Fire-Dwellers by Margaret Laurence
The Manticore by Robertson Davies
Smiley's People by John le Carre
Conan the Destroyer by Robert Jordan
The Good Mother by Sue Miller
Sophie's Choice by William Styron
The Most Evil Women in History by Shelley Klein
The Two of Them by Joanna Russ
Clea and Zeus Divorce by Emily Prager
Swept Away by Josepha Sherman
Spell for Chameleon by Piers Anthony
Radical Utopias by Suzy McKee Charnas, Joanna Russ, Samuel R. Delany
The Information by Martin Amis
Callahan's Legacy by Spider Robinson
Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman
