Delightful little memoir of an area I've enjoyed visiting.

Passed along to friends who spent a season volunteering near Arrivaca.

I enjoyed reading this book right in the neighborhood where it took place, near Arivaca AZ. We hiked up the Arivaca Creek trail to the old Wilbur-Cruce homestead. It has burned down, but as it was mostly adobe, the walls,etc. are still there, as well as the old corrals, etc. It felt really neat to stand there at the homestead, looking out at ancient cottonwood trees, and know that Eva Antonia had stood in that same spot and looked at those same trees. The book was released this morning at the Gadsden Coffee Shop in Arivaca AZ for someone else to enjoy.
