Absolutely loved it! It's along the lines of 'The Davinci Code'. It keeps you on your toes and I couldn't put it down.

From the back cover :

1291 AD, Acre. As the city burns under the onslaught of the Sultan's men, the Falcon Temple sets sail, carrying a small band of knights and a mysterious chest entrusted to them by the Order's Grand Master. The ship vanishes without trace....

Present day New York. At the Metropolitan Museum, four horsemen dressed as Knights Templar storm the gala opening of an exhibition of Vatican treasures and, in a brutal and bloody attack, steal an arcane medieval decoder.

For FBI agent Sean reilly and archaeoligist Tess Chaykin, this is just the start of a deadly game of cat and mouse as they race across three continents, trying to stay one srep ahead of ruthless killers while chasing down a centuries old mystery........

I have offered this up as a bookring.

Mixed feelings about this book. Some parts had me glued to the page and in others my eyes were glazing over and I found myself skipping bits. Although fiction, the secret at the heart of the book may alarm some readers, as they may fear that such a secret could exist. As a Spiritualist I view Jesus as mortal but one of the greatest Mediums who ever lived and whatever the truth of the establishment of the Christian faith, his teaching that we should love one another is simple and true and, sadly, not always heeded in this world.

Will pass it on to AardvarkSue once I have her address.

An enjoyable, if predictable, thriller about the Holy Grail conspiracy theories that are becoming popular of late. Kept me occupied on my metro ride to work! Will PM Auglaise and send it on.

Although I enjoyed reading this, it was quite similar to several other books out there about this type of subject. I'm sending it on its way today - thanks for sharing it with me!

Hi,

I still haven't managed to track down Passiondragon64 so was wondering if I might move the book on.

I belong to a UK Mystery/Thriller Virtual Bookbox

http://z12.invisionfree.com/BCUK_Extra/index.php?showtopic=836

and I think that this is the sort of book that people there would like to read.

Any comments as to whether I should continue to hold this book or pass it on?

Finally got around to reading this and found it a nice, easy to read, thriller. At first I thought it may be a bit too similar to Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, and certainly felt it was a jump-on-bandwagon book with its interest in the Knights Templar and their connections to the early Christian church. However, this book did go its own way. I certainly enjoyed it. It made a nice change from some 'worthy' literature I had just read for my bookgroup and a rather miserable read I'd started and then given up on.

This book is reserved for garibaldisghost who won it in a bookswap on bcuk extra.
