Was shopping in Tescos, when this book (in a more appealing cover than that shown) leapt out at me and compelled me to buy it! I have never read nay Jodi Picoult, but many people on this site seem to be fans of hers, so I will give it a go :)
Oops...impatient me registered this book twice in error...
This is the first Jodi Picoult novel that I've read, and I can see now why she has a huge army of fans. There is so much here that provokes thought, and I kept having to stop and think about the issues raised. The tension is maintained right up to the last page, but I did think it was just marginally too long. I was getting a bit fidgety about three quarters of the way through, and it would have benefitted from some closer editing.
