I admit it, I only picked up this book for its title. I didn't look at the blurb and I wasn't familiar with the author. I enjoyed it. The mystery was pretty good but what I really enjoyed was the descriptions of standard poodles and the requirements of show dogs. But I especially liked the fact that it was the clue from a cat lover that was the key. Hey, I'm a Kat, even if I like dogs too.

Sending this one off on loan to my mom. I think she'll like it too. When it comes home it goes in my cat tales bookbox for eventual sharing.

i ENJOYED READING ABOUT THE OBEDIENCE TRAINING THAT THE DOGS GO THROUGH BEFORE THEY ARE ENTERED INTO DOG SHOWS. IT WAS INTERESTING ABOUT THE DOGS GOING TO THE NURSING AND RETIREMENT HOMES. iF YOU LIKE DOGS YOU WOULD ENJOY THIS BOOK. I WILL RETURNTHIS BOOK TO MY DAUGHTER SO SHE CAN PASS IT ON OR KEEP IT.

This one has arrived home safely and been packed up to go to the New Zealand BookCrossing Convention. Just because I can't go doesn't mean my books can't, right?

Now I just have to ask - did you select a book with this title to come to NZ specially given the atrocious weather we've had from time to time this year?

I am sure the weather distributor has had serious brain disorders over the last year. We've had torrential rain; serious gale force winds, floods, snow at unseasonal times, slips, airport closure because of fog. It is a case of "you name it - we've had it" as far as crazy weather goes. Today it is theoretically summer; there is no sun and it is far too windy to walk unless one absolutely has to.

I am so hoping that we don't have a fog-bound airport over the weekend of the convention.

When I asked EdwardStreet who is arranging the city walk on Saturday morning whether she has an alternate plan for wet weather she simply said that it goes ahead wet or shine, they can wear raingear!

Despite all that it is a lively title for a book - no wonder you picked it up.
Thank you for thinking of us.
