How wonderul - a RABCK from my friend wombles. Thank you so much Wendy, I will enjoy this Italian story set in Venice, has been on my wish list for ages.
I was going through my TBR books when I discovered this one still sitting on my shelf! I took this book with me when we spent 6 months in Italy in 2007-08 and enjoyed the Brunetti crime story and intended to release it in Venice.
Well, I never did that (even though we visited Venice) and I think the book may still be sitting in the house we lived in at the time in the village of Tocco da Casauria. http://www.abruzzo2000.com/abruzzo/pescara/toccodacasauria.htm
Unfortunately we have only been back once and since then, the L'Aquila earthquake has resulted in the house being condemned, so nobody is allowed to enter. I wonder if we shall ever hear from the book again?
