Journal Entry 1 by rem_LJB-550032 on Saturday, September 23, 2006
***NOTE***

While I am a writer who writes long when the spirit, and the subject, moves him you, dear fellow Journaler, aren't required to put in anything but the bare minimum ( Where Caught, where re-released, or whatever other fate you have in store for the book, even a brief review ) ...BUT longer is permissible, and encouraged, IF you are so moved to do so by my own such entries.

***END NOTE***

More than slightly before my time ( Actually something like over 300 years! ) John Bunyan wrote what is considered a classic of religious fiction about the seperate journeys made from the City of Destruction, to the Celestial City, and the people, and adventures, they encounter along the way.

This translation 1st appeared in 1964, and this Trade Paperback copy is an umpteenth reprint, published by The Moody Bible Institute, from sometime in the last 10 years.

I will not be reading this book, but it should prove of interest to anyone into literature of a spritiual nature.

I did, however, thoroughly enjoy the black and white illustrations spread throughout the book.

Rescued from The Salvation Army today, 9/23/06.

Released 17 yrs ago (9/28/2006 UTC) at Crystal Cathedral Church at 12141 Lewis Street in Garden Grove, California USA
