This book has pulled on its funniest sweater before heading out into the Tag Game! :)
Looks like this will be a cute little book! ;)

I enjoyed other books by Abigail Thomas very much, but I never got to read this one.
It's now going to the winner of the "Non-EU book & local chocolate sweepstakes - round 2/ February 2022".
Congratulations! Have fun.

Quite a nice read! A bit too quick though, as I took it for travels but finished it long before the trip did... Had planned a Little Free Library release but, alas, the LFL was not where it was supposed to be, so this will continue its journey in some other way.

Fished out of my in-tray today together with two chocolate bars :-) Thank you!
Usually I am not that fond of short stories but I liked the writing style of these although they were a bit depressing... ;-)

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Travels as part of the „First sentence“-VBB. Enjoy 🙂📚
Loosely connected stories, more like snap-shots on the life of each different character rather than stories with specific plots. All stories are kind of sad, but the book somehow flows smoothly most of the time. I think Abigail Thomas' writting style is the strong asset of the book, rather than the themes or stories per se.
Not something very memorable, but a book I found very decent to pass the time. And this is fine too, not everything has to be a literary masterpiece!
