Made it to page 76 and then gave up. I did not care for the diary type format of this book and to be honest did not care much for the heroine or the storyline. I have way too many books in my TBR mountain to force myself to read things that don't keep my interest. So sending this on to it's new home unfinished. I hope that Ellymae enjoys it more than I did.

You did better than I did, Wendy - I'm giving up on page 51!! The diary format doesn't bother me, it's pretty much the story that's not holding my interest. Not to mention, that I was already tired of Bronwyn's crudeness. I'm no prude, but the way that particular character was speaking just bothered me.

I actually ended up liking this book. *gasp* LoL At first, I couldn't get too into it because I was ambivalent about Bronwyn. I had to get used to her crude way of thinking, but it did get better (or I got used to it) as the book went along. This book was perfect for what I needed, since classes pretty much take up all my brain power, even if I didn't think it was too well-written. :P The ending was a cliff-hanger so I do think I will get the next book to find out what happens. I also think the cover is misleading; the book isn't as innocent (ha!) as the cover implies that it is.
