Precious Ramotswe is the eminently sensible and cunning proprietor of the only ladies' detective agency in Botswana...in this book she finds her family suddenly and unexpectedly increased by two. Charming books.

This author's writing has always given me so much pleasure - I've now read most of the series, albeit out of sequence.
This particular title spoke to me personally about love, adoption, hunger, morality and a host of other important issues; as I am reading it I hear the voices of Africans I've known, both past and present.
