"Baby Girl" was born to parents who met in San Diego during WWII. Her father was killed in action before she was born. She and her mother went to live with her father's parents never having met them previously.
Baby Girl and her mother disappeared suddenly for years and by the end of the book the mystery has been solved.

Oh my! I can't believe I waited so long to read this book - well actually it got tucked behind some other books by accident lol. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to finding some more by Fannie Flagg
