This story tells of the author's early life in Kashmir and then New Delhi. Her poignant memories of this land that has been the center of much political battle and war are touching.

I finished this book recently, and am registering it to share with others who might enjoy it. In addition, I will be listing it as my book by an author from India, in my attempt to read books from 202 countries by summer 2008.
