Ramses2, Thank you so much for sending this book! Right now, I am finishing up three book rings I have in front of me, and then I'm starting on three different series that I've been just dying to get to: The Sue Grafton Alphabet mysteries, Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, and THIS series: the Peter Decker/Rina Lazarus books by Faye Kellerman! I'll be alternating one of each series, and sharing them with reading buddies: a different "buddy" for each series. It will be so much fun!

So, it may be a while until you hear from this book again, but that's the plan in place. I'm not going to forget about it, and when I DO read it, I'll journal it and pass it on to someone else! Thank you again!

Well, it's been moved to the short list, but even that is rather a long list. At least you know I haven't forgotten about it! Now it'll be read sooner rather than later and you can expect to actually see a journal entry soon!

Jan 4, 2008: Started reading this book today, it should be traveling within a week or so ....

Feb 5, 2008: Oh, for Pete's sake! Seventy pages into the book, and absolutely LOVING it, I realize that there are too many gaps and new situations ... Could it be? Have I ... ?? YEP! It's NOT the next book in the series! I SKIPPED three books in between ... Prayers for the Dead, Serpents Tooth and Jupiters Bones. No way can this totally Obsessive Compulsive Reader let THAT happen, so I have to stop reading this for now and pick up Prayers for the Dead. No worries, that's sitting right here on Mount To Be Read also! Yeesh!

Added May 8, 2008: Started this book - AGAIN! This time, it should all work out! Currently reading another book, too, but I should be done with BOTH of them within a week or so!

May 14, 2008: Finished today. It was an exciting story, and it feels strange to see Lt Decker's daughter all grown, out on her own and part of the action! I feel like one of my own children has grown up! After all, we know her for so many years!
