It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.

This is a book I wrote about hitch hiking and where it stands now. It was great fun to write and research and I hope someone else who has hitch-hiked can controbuite. It was my first book published and was released around the time of the Backpacker murders in 1994 in australia. I did loads of interviews and was abused and congratulated and it was a rollercoaster as I'd never done publicity for a book before and I got thrown in the dep end with this one. i certainly don't encourage people to hitch hike, nor do i discourage them, but I've had some fun doing it, and some terrible depressing times and read and related many tales of danger and weirdness. I hope it entertains.

Released 18 yrs ago (11/9/2005 UTC) at torrens river path near chinese hats in Adelaide, South Australia Australia

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

The river is still a bit overflowing but I put the book in its plastic bag on the stone wall opposite the chinese hats that 'float' on the river near memorial drive tennis courts. I hopwe it doesn't get missed as I couldn't find a great spot for it to be without it looking like debris, despite the bag and the stickers. i hope it finds a good home.
