I'll admit - I was very greedy with this book and read it very quickly! It's somewhat diminuitive size makes it a great short read for those with a growing TBR shelf!
I remember seeing the film of this with Maggie Smith some years ago, and have been interested to read the book ever since. I thought Spark's characters were excellent - the character of Miss Jean Brodie was very poignant and exceptionally well written. I'd definitely read it again, as I think there are so many facets, that you'd find something new in it every time.

I honestly can't remember if I've read this before or not. I loved the film, and the radio adaption, so I know the story well. But if I can't remember if I've read it, it's certainly time to read it again, if you see what I mean.

I just loved re-reading this book. It's pure magic, a mesmerising read from start to finish. I here Dame Maggie Smith throughout, but that's no bad thing.

Picked it up at this month's bookcrossing meet-up and added it to my "to-be-red" pile. :)
