I had never read anything by Howard Norman, until this book was recommended to me by a member of my book club. Not the easiest, nor the most accessible book for the masses - but if you can suspend your belief for a while, it may surprise you. I can't give away any of the plot (mainly because I can't remember), but I do feel like this is a worthy book to release into the wild. Hopefully, some street person with a literary bent or an average joe will pick this up and think - as Michiko Kakutani of The New York Times says on the back cover "Bewitching...glows like a night light in the reader's mind."
