I'm including a picture of the "Aspen turning", a particularly Colorado thing to see. This was taken on a quick drive my husband and I took up into the mountains. This is how my part of this country looks at this time of year :)

The m-bags have arrived (or 4 of them anyway!) We have had a wonderful afternoon unpacking them! Thanks for posting them Antof9 and thanks for the book Bookczuk, your contribution to the convention is greatly appreciated!
This is terrible...so many great books have arrived and I am feeling very tempted!

Now if I start saving now I might make it to Charleston in 2007...

I finished this book this afternoon while sitting out in the sun when I really should have been inside journaling convention books and such.
It is about a woman who is assaulted by her husband and with her son finally manages to escape him and make a new life for herself on the other side of America, but she always knows he will come after her. What is worse is the husband is a detective. The writing is wonderful, the main characters emotions and fears are described so realistically. Thankfully I have never been in Beth’s situation and hope I never am but this book shows what I would imagine it to be like.

I couldn't resist at the Friday night gathering - I know books are for releasing in the wild but I just have to read this first.

I picked this up at the Dunedin 2006 Convention and read it months ago. I didn’t release I hadn’t made a journal entry. Everyone can maybe count this a wild find . Will release again soon
