Romney gave me this on a recent Canberra visit. They brought along a record 200 tonnes of books to the meetup, not wanting to lug them all over the world in the upcoming year of random wandering.
I have an interest in philosophy, yes.
This book begins by examining philosophers' doubts. Doubts as to things and concepts most people would lose no sleep over. I like that. Questioning axioms is grand philosophical fun. It leads to all sorts of discussions and outcomes.
I'm sitting in a chair at a table, typing this on a computer. I believe that none of these things are real. So there!
Nor is this book, though the concepts it examines are very real indeed.
I may leave this in a little free library somewhere. Or I may take it to Iran. I have a 50kg luggage allowance, at least on the flight out.
