This is a great book and I read it many years ago. This particular copy comes via the Salvation Army Benefit.

"Three Singles to Adventure takes the reader to South America where the author meets the sakiwinki and the sloth clad in bright green fur, where he can hear the horrifying sound of piranha fish on the rampage, and learns how to lasso a galloping anteater."

Very excited to find the book on a bench when we (the whole family) were walking along the beach. Will read the book and then release it when I finish reading it.

I caught the book while going to compete at the Fremantle Eisteddfod in the Fremantle Town Hall. I have always loved Gerald Durrell's writings, especially about his time in Corfu as a child, so I'm looking forward to reading it and I'm sure I'll love it just as much. Fortuitous catching!

I let the book go in the St Quentin's Dental Clinic in Claremont. Loved the book but was really aware of how much times have changed in terms of animal collecting. I think I prefer his books about his childhood. I hope someone catches the book soon!
