This is an amazing biography of one of the Beirut hostages captured in 1985 and held for 4.5 years. It is incredible that he managed to keep sane - it is a disturbing biography.

This is an extraordinary account - I have been profoundly moved by reading about Brian Keenan's experiences as a hostage. An Evil Cradling will stay with me for a long time.
