I finally read a Terry Pratchett book!
He most definitely lives up to his reputation for wit and colorful humor.
The Color of Magic is the introduction to the Discworld novels. As much as I enjoyed the story though, I find myself shying away from another commitment to such an expansive world (littered with novels that one would be on a neverending quest to collect).
Sometimes the words seem too crowded for the sentences. I found myself re-reading lines to make sure I appreciated every ounce of meaning steeped within them.
Fans of Douglas Adams are sure to enjoy this book. The characters will make you smile.

I've heard so many good things about this book, I couldn't resist getting it when I saw it on the relays! Thanks and I will journal it again once it has been read!
Not sure what all the hype is about with this series. I just found it to be an okay book but not really great! Will continue to read the series though, for now...
