This is a book that I have had for a while, but never properly read. I have flicked through it, and read anything of local interest though, and it appears well-written.

Basically, the book is a guide to the stories and family legends that surround the haunting of many castles, houses and sites in the British Isles. From the Tower of London to Glamis Castle in Scotland the author takes the reader on a ghostly journey through the proven (and unproven) evidence suggesting 'we are not alone'.

Places mentioned also include Hampton Court, Bisham Abbey, Powis Castle, Sherborne Castle, Muncaster Castle and many more.
