Our human rights book discussion group, Rights Readers, read and enjoyed this book. This enigmatic novel is one our group’s favorites. We had many theories about this extended metaphor (sorry, it’s been too long to recall them) and is definitely a book you will want to share and discuss with others in order to uncover more layers of meaning.
