This was one of the first post-9/11 books to put all the pieces together and make a case for US government complicity in the attack. The book is well researched and provides a good historical grounding for Sept. 11. Unfortunately, the style is a bit dry and the book leaves readers hanging by not discussing the events of 9/11 itself. A better alternative is Michael Ruppert's "Crossing the Rubicon," which covers pre-9/11 history, the attack and its aftermath. Newcomers to 9/11 conspiracy theory should also read David Ray Griffin's "The New Pearl Harbor" and "The 9/11 Commission Report: Omissions And Distortions."
