Love books about the Irish...thought this looked liked fun.
It's about the Gallaghers, who own a pub near Waterford. They encounter a lonely American woman,
who has rented a house (haunted no less) in the village....somehow, they will join with
this stranger and break the spell.
This book is book one in a trilogy.

I enjoyed this book far more than I expected to enjoy it because it leans more towards the romance novel genre, which I usually avoid. BUT, it is very well written: great descriptions of the Irish country side, insightful bits about female friendships, humor, enought fantasy to keep it light and fun but not ridiculous, and a well-developed and likeable main character. I think many woman can relate to the joy of Jude discovering her true self - a self that had previously been stifled by a life time of living up to everyone else's expectations and deaded by being married to wrong man.
I enjoyed this book enough to look aroundnfor the next two books in this trilogy.

Passed this book to "rainflower" at our local BC meetup
Picked up from "hotflash" at a meetup. I am adding it to my short list of mount to be read!
This was a sweet story. I am passing this on to a friend who really likes Nora Roberts.
Can't wait to read the next one. I am going to hang on to this one for awhile.
