Oh my, picked this one up as a whim when i was off work and wanted a bit of an easy read. I only got as far as the second chapter and I felt that my life is just too short.

It appears to a run of the mill sweeping epic, from WWII to the Vietnam War, its a romance that plays against the business of gun manufacture..

According to the blurb on the back it is "compelling", and apparently " Julie Ellis excels at writing uplifting novels which highlight the emotional commitment and sacrifices made by strong individuals for the sake of their families."
