I'm not sure how I feel about this book. Having made it through school without having had to read it, I finally picked it up to see what it was all about. I wasn't very impressed. It's not that I don't identify with Holden or his story, I do, I think maybe I just didn't like the writing style. I'm not sure. Interesting enough to stick with but I certainly wouldn't consider it a great piece of literature. Passing this on to fellow bookcrosser xula.
