I think I expected too much from this book so ended up being disappointed. I was interested to see what someone else thought would happen to Darcy and Elizabeth and was disappointed by the plot, which I found flimsy. I also didn''t like the way that Tennant kept referring back to Pride and Prejudice, practically quoting bits from it every chapter. It didn''t feel like a smooth continuation of the story at all. Still, it was an interesting read but makes me somewhat hesitant now to read An Unequal Marriage which is also in Mt TBR. I hope this book is more to someone else''s taste as it''s really quite a nice idea...
