The film Lost and Delirious was based on The Wives of Bath. Well written but I didn't connect so well with it. Happy reading.

I want to read this book because of the movie lost and delirious, but I´m very surprised when i finish to read it. It isn´t reflect the pasion and the poetry of the film, because it is more real and scared than the film. In few words, the only thing in common between the film and the book it is the caracthers.
The film is about the relation between Paulie and Tory, but in the book, Mouse Bradford is the main protagonist.
I like both. First I like the movie because It is about a topic that it is very polemics, lesbian relations or may be I must say a polemic topic like everyone thinks different and we are all different and this is the part that we can´t understand. So it is for this reason that exist so much discusting and intolerances in the world because we don´t respect the fact that everyone has a mind and a heart to say us what we believe for.
The book it is the result of being mistundertood. The film is it the dream becoming in nigthmare.
Both of them have the same ending. One it is more symbolic, the other more dark.
Anyway, I finish to read it and I feel sad. I wish I could do something to change the ending for "and they live happy forever and ever". But it wasn´t real. that´s life, that is the realness that We create. It could be the heaven in the Earth or it could be the hell, it´s depend from us.
If I was in the story I would help Paulie, even if it was impossible. The only I could say is that nobody wants to be lonely.
