One of my favourite reads last year and in my top 20 all time. Tepper weaves a fantastical story that teaches us a lesson in the hopes that it will not be too late.
Sending to someone who has it on his wishlist. Enjoy!

Thanks cestmoi. I'll read this soon.
I thouroughly enjoyed "The Family Tree". This was a book with originality, wit, charm, a great plot, or actually two plots in one and a very poignant message.

Thanks for the unsolicited RABCK...you knew by our forum discussions I'd like this one...and I think I will :)
Two great stories in one that intertwine midway...I had trouble with the futuristic one at forst but when they came together -it ALL made sense-very creative ideas about the environment-loved how it all came together-made for many a good reading at lunch hours.
