I just couldn't get into this book- odd, because I normally love both Steinbeck and road-trip stories. Hopefully the next reader will enjoy this one more than I did!

Caught this book at the bank machine downtown, it was sitting there with a little note saying, "Take home and enjoy," so I took it home and intend to enjoy.

Picked it up at around 9:45.

It took me a very long time to finally get around to read this book, but when I did I really enjoyed it, even though I hated the Red Pony.

Its really a laid back book that is very well written. If you stop by the Hostel España in Lima Centro (a decent hostel, but pretty noisey, I prefer the Point, in Barranco), check the book exchange for it, its worth a trade and a good travel book.
