took this from a LFL while I was releasing some books.
Looks interesting and I haven't read this author yet.

I was up and down with this book, some chapters were interesting and read quickly, others seemed to drag for some reason. I stuck with it as I liked the story line, and the setting.

Ready for a new home

Taken from the box. This is a book I wouldn't have picked up otherwise, so the Wrap It Up box is already at work stretching my reading horizons!

This one just isn’t clicking for me. I think part of it is that it is clearly a sequel, and not knowing the backstory of these characters and their interpersonal drama is throwing me off balance. I feel like I can tell there are important characteristics that I don’t have the details on, and the slow, uneven reveal isn’t working for me. I stuck through several chapters, but it is feeling like a slog and my TBR shelf is overflowing! I think this one should travel on to the next reader, who will hopefully be more patient with it.
