One of ten British Library Crime Classics given as a donation for our church bookstall. I just had to purchase them all!

I love this series of British Library Crime Classics. This one was particularly good and a double whammy, two books in one. No wonder George Bellairs' Littejohn series was very popular. I look forward to finding more of them. There do seem to be quite a few still available.

The Dead Shall Be Raised was set in West Yorkshire and The Murder Of A Quack was set in Norfolk. Looks as if Inspector Littejohn will be travelling all over Britain as local police call him in from Scotland Yard. I can't wait!

Another entertaining novel from this entertaining series. Like I said, I really do appreciate these old crime stories.

The Murder of a Quack
Another entertaining puzzle from an entertaining series, this one set in rural Norfolk, not an area I know, having visited only once as far as I can remember - unlike beautiful Yorkshire . . .

This is the first time I've used the Royal Mail collection service. The booking and collecting part went smoothly. I'm now waiting to hear that my parcel has arrived safely in West Yorkshire. Then I'll relax - and maybe do it again . . .
