This paperback was among the books donated to the Nashua Public Library and allocated for distribution to Little Free Libraries.
Though the book's all of about 90 pages long, it contains several of O. Henry's most well-known stories, including "The Gift of the Magi," "The Last Leaf," and his safe-cracking tale "A Retrieved Reformation," as well as others not quite so well known, like "The Hiding of Black Bill". All, of course, feature the author's trademark twists, but I find it entertaining that even when I know there's going to BE a twist I can't always tell what it'll be. And the stories are fun to re-read even though I know how they'll end.
