The Girls

UPDATE May 2024: The big topic is lack of love and support for the girls, and their yearning to find this love outside of their families, thus becoming easy targets for older men. Evie, the protagonist, has learned it as she was a teen herself. Throughout the book the adult Evie comments on her teenage years - she can see the resemblance in Sasha. Without giving away too much of the plot, I must say this is one of the best books I have read this year.
This would be a great book for a book chub discussion.

If you aren't familiar with Bookcrossing, take a few minutes to check out this very cool site. Bookcrossers LOVE books, and more than anything, they love to read books and then set them free for other people to find and enjoy. I would love it if you would leave a journal entry -- you can say where you found the book or how you liked it when you read it.
