This was a good book, by a very fine human, Stephen Lewis, whose work on behalf of Canada in Africa is remarkable. These Massey lectures, in 2003, were likely transfixing. The book is good. Lewis gets a bit repetitive, but he wants to drive his message home about aid to Africa, and the AIDS epidemic. Good educational learning.
