As the plots and details of the Thursday Next books become more complex, they just get better and better. The first 100 pages of this third in the series had me laughing out loud. I'm a little sad that I have to wait a whole year for the next Next to come out. One point of critique, however: For a book set in the BookWorld, where all literature is conceived and regulated at the textual level, it was increasingly irritating to have characters use "I" when the correct word is "me." This happens many, many times. Also, at one point, "it's" where it should be "its." These are particular pet peeves of mine, so maybe I'm being overly anal retentive.
