I found this fair-condition paperback at a local charity shop. I've enjoyed other work by this author, including the snarky and hilarious Emperor Mollusk versus the Sinister Brain.
This one deals with a young woman in a rut and seeking an apartment, only to find herself dwelling in a Very Strange Building indeed - and with an all-devouring eldritch horror as her roommate! Something of a Lovecraft Lite, but fun, and taking some interesting twists on the "dealing with universe-swallowing-monsters" scenario! Lots of fun little bits along the way, as Diana befriends some of the most unlikely critters and learns to cope with ever-shifting reality.
