While being 5'10 and a size 16 does not seem to be as being fat. I liked that even though Cannie thought she was she grew comfortable enough with herself not to care.

I tried the first page and it seems like a very nice book. Looking forward to read, but it has to wait cause of other TBR,meanwhile my daughter can read it (I have to check if she can read it, not to much sex ;-) )

This week was a good reading week due to sleeping problems :-) .
I,ve finished 3 true crime books and She's come undone
This book was up next together with 3 others and I wanted something easy and cheerful.
(I make a list when the TBR books were received)

I have to say I really enjoy reading this.
I am not a big fan of chick lit but while reading I do not think it is really chick lit?
It is funny, tragic and easy to read.
I am now at page 56

Wow I,ve just finished reading this book and with regret that is.
I really loved reading this book and did not expect that at all.I thought it would be a "trying very hard to be funny book" It was an emotional book. I have been laughing but also on the verge of tears on the last 2 chapters.

One remark. The new girlfriend of bruce the Pusher.
If Cannie wanted revenge why not sue her?

Took this from Marlene's English Books BookBox Ray and will send it on to jgralike once I have finished it.

I thought this would be a funny, cheerful novel, but instead this was a highly implausable story about a 28-year old woman who is fighting a losing battle with her weight and is pining after a man who does not love her anymore. She gets upset over things a normal person would not think twice about. About half way through, the story takes an unexpected turn. I thought that this would make the storyline more interesting, but it only makes it weirder and more implausable. Eventually, there is a happy ending that you can see coming a mile off.

It is as if the author took a bunch of typical women’s topics (weight problems, child abuse, divorce, growing up fatherless, lesbianism, single motherhood, depression etc.etc.), hustled them all together and came up with a story with this suggestive title that does not make any sense at all (but is always sure to sell well). Maybe chicklit just is not my thing....

Sorry I can not be more positive. This book will go to jgralike next. It will be interesting to hear what she thinks of it.
