It's a new month... time for some new bug fixes!
While Matt is still working on harnessing the book data that we all have contributed to, and making it available for searches, he's also been rather busy fixing other things, and even adding some nifty little features. Read all about it in this Announcements forum post.Ten Little Niggers (And Then There Were None)

Ten strangers, apparently with little in common, are lured to an island mansion off the coast of Devon. One of the party is found murdered, and tension mounts as the survivors realize that the killer is not only among them, but is willing to strike again... and again.
Very old Fontana printing from 1966 (with the original 'politically incorrect' title), so needs a little TLC.
The updated title is And Then There Were None, and was also published as Ten Little Indians.
A quick re-read and still very enjoyable. The first read was a very long time ago - I remembered the gist of the plot, but not all the details. It's one of her better ones in my opinion.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Spied on the wishlist of a generous BookCrosser, so off on a cross-hemisphere journey.
It's a very old book but still eminently readable. Hope you enjoy it (and that the original title doesn't offend).

Thank you very much!
It is of course, for the benefit of future catchers, the updated title that I had on my Wishlist. But the same story. I really like Agatha Christie and look forward to reading this.

The title and some of the racial description in this book are really unacceptable to the modern reader and made it an uncomfortable read. Setting that aside, I don't think this is Christie's best, as there's a bit less character interest than I expect from her books (possibly because of the nature of the guests). Ten strangers are invited to an island, they all have some sort of murder in their past, and then they start dying - the suspense is strong and I would never have guessed who did it.
