This is a story of Rick Sudder, who has been injured in Iraq, He is no longer the carefree boy, he is a wounded man who believes he is bad luck to all who are around him. Also, Walt and Murial have a mutual understanding and are happy in love. Dan Brady is an ex-con and he's looking for a place to accept him and let him start over and there in Virgin River finds a woman who was as much an outcast as he is. All these people can overcome their problems in this area if they put their minds to it. A good read!!

Of all the books I have read in this series, this is the first one that has felt like a sequel. I was glad that while I hadn't read the book immediately before it I had read some of the earlier books. So. I knew most of the characters and the backstory of the town. It was a good book otherwise. Thanks for sharing these with me. It took me awhile to get to them, but I have enjoyed my time in Virgin River.
