Journal Entry 3 by BookBirds from Somewhere in the USA, -- Wild Released somewhere in USA -- USA on Wednesday, September 6, 2006
This was a great book. The Nostradamus parts were interesting. I loved when he was telling the boy that in the future, scientists would think that when he said 'Hister' he meant 'Hitler'. It's just funny to think he might have known exactly what was going to happen. If he could see the end of the world in the book though, and was telling it to the boy, then why could he not write down exactly what would happen? Rather than write something that is not as direct. I liked how Morrow would be sure to show that the unadmitted were surviving off the seals, whales and penguins to show that as the unadmitted were accusing the admitted for killing humans, they themselves were working on killing many different species. Also, since they rescued the six accused just to put them on trial, why also could they not have rescued more people in order to keep the human species going? That is why I am confused as to who the unadmitted are. If they are the unborn future, then why were they not doing everything in their power to continue the human species? There isn't enough back story to the unadmitted.
