This book is in a Controlled Release!
3 journalers for this copy...
I have read every book in Nevada Barr's Anna Pigeon series. This is one of the best, which is why I picked it up to pass it along to someone else!
Rec'd this at our Mid-Mon-Oc meetup tonight - joining the others on Mt TBR!
I just looked at the synopsis of this and I'm already planning to take this on my trip to Ohio/Kentucky. I'm obsessed with the Dry Tortugas - heck, I don't think there's been one National Park featured in Barr's books that I haven't liked.

I found me another copy at a recent library sale, so since this was passed to me by another BXer, I am going to make it available to others and will read my copy with no pressure.
Sending out to another BXer as a RABCK. Enjoy!
Arrived today. I read one other Nevada Barr, also sent to me by the lovely MarciNYC, and liked it, so I didn't hesitate when I saw she had this on her "take this book please" list.
I have to say, I wasn't terribly impressed with this. I'm not sure why; it's got a neat concept and the park certainly adds an emotional element all by itself, which is very cool. But I found I'd get tired of the digressions and urge Barr to speed up the action, and by the end, I was skipping the bulk of many paragraphs, trying to keep the pace up. Didn't help.
