My 6th-grade teacher read us this book (and then showed us the movie), and I remember enjoying it, but I don't think I've read it in adulthood. Looks like I'll get my chance, though--it's my book group's title for this month, so I'll read the other copy and release this one tomorrow night.

I think I enjoyed reading this as a child. It was an important book.
