I'm one of BookCrossing's "old-timers" and have been more active than I am now. Part of it is that I'm a www.ravensroads.com" target="_blank">full-time RVer now, so I have limited space for books. I seldom buy books at all, since they come to me serendipitously. :)

Books I cross don't necessarily resemble my own tastes. I collect Very Short Introductions from OUP. I pick up books according to what I think others might like or what mood I'm in. I don't trade because there's no room for storage in an RV!

You'll find lots of copies of www.ravensroads.com/---/" target="_blank">A Litte Twist of Texas, which chronicles my solo ride to the 2005 Fort Worth BookCrossing convention, on this site. People do seem to like it.

I'm married with a cat, no kids, an RV called Harvey and a 1400cc motorcycle, Beastie. Right now Beastie is in storage and my other half's V65 Magna, Max, is along for the ride.
