I read this book with the pictures of the Disney Movie in mind, which I really liked. I thought this story would be nice and funny and joyful. But actually, I found the Jungle Books quite serious, dark, even violent, and I didn't like the characters, being animals or Mowgli the man. I couldn't read it until the end, I got bored.
